The School of Nutrition and Dietetics of the Universidad Industrial de Santander actively participated in the interprofessional practice day held as part of the program of Comprehensive and Interprofessional Care: palms for a single health in children, youth and adolescents of Puerto Wilches.

During the day, held last May 22, 2025, activities of education in integral health, nutrition, oral health and mental health were developed, aimed at children, adolescents, parents and teaching staff, with the objective of contributing to the improvement of the quality of life of the community.

These initiatives strengthen interprofessional training and promote the formation of collaborative health teams within the service networks, diversifying the learning contexts of future professionals.

The activity was attended by students and professionals from various disciplines: Psychology, Psychiatry, Pediatrics, Family Medicine, General Medicine, Occupational Therapy, Speech Therapy, Nutrition, Dentistry, Epidemiology, Nursing, Optometry, Surgical Instrumentation, Bacteriology, Veterinary Medicine, Environmental Engineering, Social Work and Physiotherapy.
