With a gala of Cuban, universal and soundtrack music, the Santander Symphonic Band will celebrate the traditional October 31st.

After a month full of emotions around the activities that gave life again to the band of Santander, the Luis A. Calvo Auditorium will receive them next Thursday October 31 for a second gala concert that will be framed in fresh repertoires of Cuban music, universal music and soundtracks.

On this occasion, the baton will be in charge of the guest conductor, Maestro Nelson Henry Cruz Rivas, professor at the UIS in the Bachelor of Music program, and who was also the director of the Symphonic Band of the Universidad Industrial de Santander for several years, also recognized for being one of the many participants in the work of rescuing and maintaining the band movement in the department of Santander.

This will be a free admission concert that will begin at 7:00 p. m., but you will have to register in advance at this link to download the ticket: https://welcu.com/auditorio-luis-a-calvo-uis/concierto-de-gala-banda-sinfonica-de-santander

In this sense, we extend to the entire university community and the general public this invitation to also celebrate the traditional October 31 around a musical special full of contrasts and dynamism, and that in this case allows us to join the feeling and the recent words of the governor of Santander, General Juvenal Diaz Mateus, since he says that the Santander Symphonic Band is an opportunity for growth and development of the departmental culture.
