This Tuesday, August 12, the “Piano Viajero” (Traveling Piano) segment of the International Piano Festival will begin, and 12 municipalities in Santander will host concerts by different maestros.
Barbosa, Málaga, Girón, Barrancabermeja, Floridablanca, Socorro, Barichara, Aratoca, Lebrija, San Gil, Piedecuesta, and Sabana de Torres will host this cultural event, as will Mesa de Los Santos.
The event will begin on August 12 in Barbosa with Juan Esteban Pinzón, who will perform at the Inscomercio School at 10 a.m. and at 7 p.m. in the auditorium of the UIS headquarters.
In Málaga, recitals will be held at the same times with Joshua Sebastián Cely at the Industrial School and at La Inmaculada Cathedral. In Barrancabermeja, Daniel Josué Barbosa will perform at the Colegio el Castillo (10 a.m.) and at the UIS headquarters (7 p.m.). Julián Valencia will do the same in Socorro at the Colegio Siglo XXI (10 a.m.) and at the Teatro Manuela Beltrán (7 p.m.).
Johann Sebástian Martínez will be at the Colegio Portal Campestre Cajasán de Girón at 10 a.m., while Santiago Londoño Gutiérrez will play at the Colegio Lagos Cajasán at the same time.
On Wednesday, August 13, Barichara will welcome Clara Oliva Sánchez Peña at the Aquileo Parra School (10 a.m.); on the same day and at the same time, Aratoca will welcome Julián Bohórquez at the Aratoca School, and Joel Josué Acevedo Torres will be at the Nuestra Señora de las Mercedes School in Lebrija.
‘Piano Viajero’ will continue in Mesa de Los Santos on Sunday, August 17, with Leonardo Rey Massey at Acuarela Cajasán at 1:00 p.m. At the Hotel Mundo Guarigua in San Gil, it will be Natalia Ascanio’s turn at 10:00 a.m., the same time as Carlos Manuel Quintero in Campoalegre.
This series will conclude at 5:00 p.m. on August 17 at Cayumba Sede Recreacional de Cajasán in Sabana de Torres with maestro Daniel Moreno.
Admission to the recitals is free of charge.
