With great enthusiasm and joy, the rector, Professor Hernán Porras Díaz, accompanied by office workers, professors, students, administrators, neighbors, and friends from the area, lit the Christmas lights on the largest tree the institution has on its various campuses. This event reflected unity, joy, and pride in the UIS.
“I believe that the lighting of the new tree at the Faculty of Health will bring joy to the students and all members of the institution, as well as beautifying and highlighting Quebradaseca Avenue,” said Jorge Andrés Santamaría, an eighth-semester medical student.
“We are very happy that the UIS is bringing the lighting of the Christmas tree to the Faculty of Health. It was something that had not been done before, and it fills us with Christmas spirit,” said Wendy Calderón, a medical student.
In turn, the neighbors in the area expressed their satisfaction: “It’s divine, it’s beautiful. This is the first time they’ve put this tree in the area, and it’s going to bring a lot of joy and photos. It’s a spectacular decoration, divine. Congratulations, thank you very much,” said Cecilia Rojas, a neighborhood resident.
Now, Quebradaseca Avenue is also filled with magic, with the arrival of this impressive Christmas tree. This urban corridor lights up and takes on new life, bringing joy, color, and hope to the entire area. Christmas is in the air… and it’s brighter than ever!
Let the Christmas party continue!
