Due to the success of the “Caregivers Workshop,” the Department of Public Health at the School of Medicine, in collaboration with the Bucaramanga Secretariat of Health and Environment, will host the second virtual edition of this workshop. This completely free training initiative is designed to strengthen, guide, and support individuals who care for older adults, people with disabilities, or those with chronic illnesses.
The training program includes three areas of focus aimed at the elderly population, their families, and caregivers, within the framework of the primary health care model. Through a comprehensive educational process, the program seeks to strengthen caregiving practices and contribute to improving health and well-being in vulnerable households in Bucaramanga.
