The Universidad Industrial de Santander has opened its admission process for undergraduate programs in distance and virtual modalities for the 2026-2 academic term, expanding access to high-quality higher education for thousands of Colombians, regardless of their geographic location.
Key Dates in the Process
The schedule has been established. The application fee payment will be available until Tuesday, June 16, while online registration can be completed until Thursday, June 18. Admission results will be published on Friday, June 26.
Differentiated Costs for Greater Inclusion
UIS reaffirms its commitment to equity by offering differentiated application fees based on Sisbén classification:
- Group A (A1–A5): $38,100
- Group B (B1–B7): $76,200
- Group C (C1–C10): $114,300
- Group C (C11–C18), D, and without Sisbén: $152,400
This strategy aims to facilitate access for applicants from diverse socioeconomic backgrounds.
Clear Requirements and a Transparent Process
To participate, applicants must have completed 11th grade and taken the Saber 11 exam, regardless of the year it was taken. The university warns that any attempt at fraud during the application or admission process will result in sanctions, including disqualification for five years.
For applicants with diplomas obtained abroad, official validation through the Ministry of National Education will be required if admitted.
