The 35th National Congress of Obstetrics and Gynecology, organized by the Colombian Federation of Gynecology and Obstetrics Societies (FECOLSOG) and held in Bucaramanga, has concluded, with more than 1,800 attendees.
As part of the congress, and with the participation of the 24 attending universities that offer this program, an academic competition was held among residents. Representing the UIS were third-year student Gabriela Prieto and second-year student Julián Olejua Argüello.
The purpose of the competition was to recognize the students who rose to the challenge of correctly answering the greatest number of questions posed to the participants. There, the UIS residents took third place.
The winners were:
First place: Universidad Pontificia Bolivariana, UPB (3 million)
Second place: Universidad Nacional (2 million)
Third place: Universidad Industrial de Santander (1 million)
