This Thursday, the online voting link will be available on the University’s institutional website from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. as part of the election process to determine the faculty representative to the University’s highest governing and decision-making body.

It is worth noting that professors Edga Mireya Uribe Salamanca and Nectalí Ariza Ariza are the candidates registered for the election process called through Resolution No. 985 of July 17, 2026.
Where to Vote
Eligible faculty members may exercise their right to vote through the following options:
* Through the banner that will be displayed on the main page of the University’s institutional website https://uis.edu.co/es/ on Thursday, September 17.
* Through the institutional website, under the Professors section, by selecting the Election Process link.
* By scanning the QR code included in the election process graphic.
* Through the following link: https://www.uis.edu.co/elecciones/acceso_votacion/acceso1.jsp
Once voting concludes at approximately 4:06 p.m. on September 17, and following the vote count, the name of the new faculty representative to the Consejo Superior for the 2026–2028 term will be announced.
