With a total of 22 votes, equivalent to 88%, Melissa Paola Rueda Díaz was elected as the new representative of the tenured administrative staff on the Committee on Gender Equity Policy of the University for the **2025–2027 term.
A total of 25 votes were cast for the Committee on Gender Equity Policy election.
The process of verifying the results took place at 4:06 p.m. on Wednesday, October 29, in the presence of Sofía Pinzón Durán, Secretaria General; Mary Lupe Angulo de Meza, directora de Bienestar Estudiantil; and Juan Camilo Lésmez, Jefe de la División de Gestión de Talento Humano, who served as the election scrutineers. The process was carried out through the Teams platform.
Results
It is worth noting that the election was conducted through electronic voting on the University’s official website, www.uis.edu.co](http://www.uis.edu.co, from 8:00 a. m. to 4:00 p. m. The election process for this representation was convened through Resolution No. 1603 of 2025.
