The Industrial University of Santander (UIS) warns the university community and the general public that the Information and Communication Technologies Division (DTIC) is not sending emails requesting verification of institutional accounts to prevent alleged loss of access due to “irregularities” or “violations” of Microsoft 365 security policies.
These messages are sent by unscrupulous individuals with the aim of stealing personal and confidential information.
The UIS recommends that you do not respond to or follow the instructions contained in these types of emails and that you delete them immediately to prevent security risks.
