The Universidad Industrial de Santander (UIS) is accepting applications until this Wednesday, September 9, at 5:00 p.m. for its 2026 faculty recruitment competition.
Tomorrow, September 9, at 5:00 p.m., the deadline expires to apply to the public call for the Universidad Industrial de Santander (UIS) faculty recruitment competition. Through this process, career-track professors will be selected for five full-time faculty positions.
The call is being conducted under Academic Council Agreement No. 177, dated June 19, 2026, which established the conditions for the faculty recruitment competition for the 2026 academic year.
In accordance with the Agreement, once the eligibility verification stage was completed and it was determined that there were no applicants meeting the requirements for some of the positions initially open exclusively to women, the University has kept those positions open while removing the gender-specific eligibility requirement.
In total, five full-time faculty positions are available for professionals interested in joining UIS as career-track professors.
Applicants should note that the application period closes this Wednesday, September 9, at 5:00 p.m. The University recommends reviewing the requirements, profiles, and conditions established for the competition in advance.
Likewise, through the official recruitment platform, participants will be able to consult the schedule, the results of the different stages, appeals, and other activities related to the selection process.
