The Industrial University of Santander (UIS) hosted the Central-Eastern Regional Workshop, “Sowing Decisions for the Territory,” an event held within the framework of the COL_DECISIONSEED project. The workshop brought together strategic stakeholders from the region to reflect on and contribute to the development of an internationalization model aimed at supporting Colombia’s territorial development.

Main objective of the meeting was to create a space for dialogue, participation, and collective construction, where key representatives from different sectors shared experiences, identified challenges, and proposed initiatives to strengthen higher education, innovation, knowledge transfer, and opportunity generation.

UIS Joins the Project as a Strategic Partner

La Casona La Perla hosted working groups and exchange sessions where participants contributed initiatives for the formulation of actions aimed at consolidating internationalization processes with tangible impacts on local territories. These contributions will be taken into account in the development of a roadmap that responds to regional needs, fostering knowledge generation, economic development, and social well-being.
