The event took place in the Salón Hormiga at the UIS Bucarica campus, located in downtown Bucaramanga, and saw active participation from members of the academic community interested in learning about the changes implemented in the institutional guidelines.

During the session, Clara Inés Tapias Padilla, director of the legal center, explained the main adjustments made to the internal regulations, highlighting their importance for optimizing the academic, administrative, and legal services processes carried out by the Legal Clinic and the Conciliation Center.

“This event was very important because it allowed us to share the main aspects of the reform and update of the internal regulations, in accordance with the current regulations established in Laws 2113 of 2021 and 2220 of 2022.

Both the Legal Clinic and the Conciliation Center succeeded in establishing a clear roadmap for students, faculty, and service beneficiaries, defining roles, duties, rights, obligations, and fundamental disciplinary aspects for the implementation of these practices,” stated Clara Inés Tapias, director of the UIS Legal Clinic.
