


Esteban Yesid Puerta Corzo, Daniel Eduardo Naranjo Garzón, and Nicolás Fernando Martínez Sandoval are the candidates who registered for the election of the student representation before the Consejo Académico for the 2026–2028 term.

Voting will take place online on Thursday, May 14, from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Prior to the election, the candidates will present their proposals and campaign identities to their fellow students through forums to be held at the regional campuses and across the Bucaramanga Metropolitan Area.
Regional Campus Forums
The campuses of the Universidad Industrial de Santander located in the municipalities of Barrancabermeja, Socorro, Barbosa, and Málaga will host the regional forums starting next Monday, according to the following schedule:

Forums will continue at the campus central and the campus UIS Floridablanca campus for students who will elect their representative to the Consejo Académico:

At approximately 4:06 p.m. on Thursday, May 14, following the vote count, the name of the new student representative to the Consejo Académico for the 2026–2028 term will be announced.
