To publicize their projects, the candidates for the deanship of the UIS Faculty of Sciences will hold a forum through hybrid in-person modality. The event will be held today, Monday, January 31, starting at 3:00 p.m.

The forum will take place in the Jorge Zalamea room, for those who want to attend in-person modality and those who prefer to do it remotely, should connect through the Zoom Platform, through the link: https://renata.zoom.us/j/83543230821
Both professors and students are invited to participate either in-person modality or virtually.
The call, which closed on January 21, was attended by the following professors: Julio César Carrillo, attached to the School of Mathematics; David Alejandro Miranda Mercado and José David Sanabria, attached to the School of Physics. The elected Dean will hold this position for a period of two years. Each speaker will have 10 minutes to present his project. Subsequently, there will be five minutes to ask questions to the candidates, with an estimated period for reply, in order to make clear the proposals of each candidate and, finally, it will be the UIS Rector, Hernán Porras Díaz, who will make the decision, according to the most suitable person to hold the position.
