This Tuesday, February 4, the Specialized Health Unit of the Universidad Industrial de Santander (UISALUD) will join, as it does every year, the commemoration of World Cancer Day, inviting its affiliates to reflect on the importance of early diagnosis and access to appropriate treatment.
From 7:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon, at the UISALUD facilities, educational material will be handed out with key information on prevention and adoption of healthy habits that contribute to reduce the risk of cancer.
In addition, guidance will be provided on early detection and essential care for integral wellbeing. This event will include the participation of Tatiana Monsalve, head nurse of the Functional Cancer Units of the Cancer Institute of the Cardiovascular Foundation, who will share her experience on the subject.
