The Specialized Health Unit of the Industrial University of Santander (UISALUD) continues to celebrate its first decade of operation with a variety of activities for its patients and staff. On this occasion, the lobby of its renovated facilities served as the setting for a special gathering that included the traditional cake-cutting ceremony.
“This anniversary highlights the institutional growth of our unit and, at the same time, recognizes the participation of our users in strengthening our services. Their commitment has been fundamental in building the quality and trust that define us,” said Cristian Santamaría, a healthcare professional at UISALUD.
The symbolic event, attended by staff and users, served as a space for integration and recreation, but also as an opportunity to acknowledge the community’s vital role over these ten years of service and the unit’s consolidation.
Users praised the quality of care and UISALUD’s evolution over time, highlighting its facilities, resources, and staff.
“It’s gratifying that they’ve included us in this celebration. It’s a very well-equipped facility, with quality services that benefit the entire community,” said Marlene García, a UISALUD patient.
For his part, Fermín Gómez highlighted the care he received: “I’m very happy to share this day with UISALUD. Since I joined, I’ve received excellent service, with very attentive staff and adequate facilities.”
One of the most special moments involved Claudia Torres, a patient who, coincidentally, was also celebrating her birthday. For her, this event made the day even more meaningful.
“It was such a lovely surprise to arrive at my doctor’s appointment and find this celebration. I’m so happy to share this moment with UISALUD on its anniversary,” she said.
Through activities like this, UISALUD strengthens its connection with patients and continues to position itself as a provider of comprehensive care, focused on service quality and well-being.
