The School of Electrical, Electronics and Telecommunications Engineering (E3T) is hosting Technical Week 2026, an event that brings together students and experts to share knowledge, experiences, and perspectives on the challenges currently facing the industry.
Under the slogan “The Innovation of the Future,” the event has established itself as an opportunity for students to engage directly with more than 19 distinguished guests from different areas of knowledge, as well as representatives from nationally and internationally recognized companies, including Dynamo Electronics, Didácticas Eléctricas I+D, ODIR Certificaciones S.A.S., among others.
The event began on Monday, August 31, and will run through Friday, September 4. The program includes keynote lectures, panel discussions, guided tours, cultural activities, exhibitions, and other events.
Sustainable Mobility and Energy Transition
“I would like to thank Engineer Giovanni, ESSA, and the University for making these spaces possible. It was a very enriching day in terms of knowledge. I think all of us students are taking away a small seed of knowledge regarding sustainable and electric mobility. I believe we can all contribute to this energy transition and, of course, learn about all the challenges and solutions involved in the future,” said Khrist Sánchez, a Mechanical Engineering student at UIS.
In this way, UIS continues to promote initiatives that connect academic training with the needs and challenges of industry, while providing students with tools to understand the trends that will shape the development of their professional fields.
