“UIS has a lot of opportunity to work together in research, student exchanges and there will be many opportunities to strengthen our relationship,” said the Ambassador, who is in office since the end of 2022 and has a diplomatic experience of 17 years.

During the day, a tour of the central campus UIS was conducted in which she was given a guide to know a unique space and thus to appreciate the heritage value that has the Industrial University of Santander.

“We are very happy with this productive visit to the UIS because when people want to work together there are very good ideas and opportunities, there is work that has been done with the UIS, now we can explore other options for development and cooperation between the UIS and New Zealand, on issues such as English, renewable energy, agriculture, environment,” said Javiera Visedo, director of linkage for Latin America of Education New Zealand.

Finally, there was a discussion with students and professors in which they talked about academic excellence, study and work opportunities in the Oceanic country.
