The External Affairs and International Relations Office of the Universidad Industrial de Santander (UIS) held a meeting with delegates from the AFS organization, in a meeting that seeks to establish opportunities for cooperation, volunteering and international mobility for the university community.
During the meeting, various initiatives were discussed that will allow UIS students and faculty to access exchange programs and activities that promote cultural diversity and global learning. One of the highlights was the imminent arrival of a German volunteer, who will join the university community to share his knowledge and experience, thus enriching the academic environment of the institution.
American Fiel Service – AFS is a non-profit and non-governmental organization, which promotes intercultural learning opportunities and coexistence between different cultures through volunteering. This alliance not only promotes cultural exchange, but also reinforces the commitment of the UIS with internationalization, giving its members the opportunity to broaden their horizons and enhance their professional training in a global context.
In this way, the university positions itself as a reference in the promotion of international education, preparing its students for the challenges of today’s world.
