The Industrial University of Santander held a meeting to share the guidelines for completing the Single Management Progress Report Form (FURAG 2025), a tool that measures institutional performance in the implementation of the Colombian government’s management and performance policies.
During the session, technical and methodological guidelines were presented that the responsible agencies must take into account in order to complete the form properly. Likewise, the reporting criteria, the established deadlines, and the importance of ensuring clear, timely, and verifiable information were explained.
The FURAG is a fundamental tool for evaluating the progress of public entities in the implementation of the Integrated Planning and Management Model (MIPG), as it allows for the identification of strengths, opportunities for improvement, and actions aimed at strengthening institutional management.

Institutional coordination for reporting information
According to Gerardo Latorre Bayona, administrative vice-chancellor of the Industrial University of Santander, this process is key to demonstrating how the institution manages its affairs and its relationship with society.
“They are important because this is an evaluation that is carried out to look at the university’s management, how it is carried out, and how it interacts with people in general, not only those who belong to the community, but also external people who come to this institution for information or for help or support, whether in outreach relationships or in their interest in coming to this institution to study,” he said.
The director also highlighted the importance of coordination between the different departments to ensure a rigorous report that reflects the institutional reality. “Given that we handle issues by processes and the processes involve several units, it is necessary for us to have perfect coordination between the different units to review the entire process and the evaluation we can give with the appropriate support, so that the final evaluation is as faithful as possible to what the university does,” he said.

The socialization allowed concerns of the work teams to be resolved and strengthened coordination between the departments responsible for the process, in view of the institutional report that the University must submit as part of the national assessment of institutional management and performance.
