A new stage for UIS Radio Stations
The UIS Radio Stations (Emisoras UIS) officially announce their relaunch. This initiative aims to renew their image, expand content offerings, and strengthen their connection with audiences.
This transformation represents an evolution in their communication approach. The stations maintain their institutional essence while adopting a more modern, accessible, and dynamic style.
New image and slogans
As part of this relaunch, both stations have updated their visual identity and slogans. UIS Estéreo 96.9 FM now carries the message “The radio we want,” while UIS 670 AM embraces “Tradition that brings us together.”
These new identities reflect a closer relationship with listeners, while preserving the stations’ commitment to education, culture, and public service.
Upgraded digital platform
The UIS Radio Stations have also modernized their official website. Listeners can now access live streaming 24 hours a day at emisoras.uis.edu.co.
The platform also features updated programming for both stations, which has been reorganized and expanded.
New programming and content
The renewed programming includes new shows designed to connect with diverse audiences. Among them are Voces con Derechos, focused on human rights analysis; Fluyendo, a music program that connects emotions and generations; and Bitácora Cultura, dedicated to cultural agendas and artistic voices.
Additional programs include Conectando la Tribu, centered on family and parenting; Ciencia en Voz Alta, which brings UIS research closer to society; and El Camerino UIS, a sports analysis show covering local, national, and international topics.
These additions strengthen the stations’ content offering and broaden their reach.
Content also available on Spotify
As part of their digital transformation, UIS Radio Stations have expanded to Spotify. Their original productions are now available on demand, allowing audiences to access content anytime.
New formats and live streaming
The relaunch also introduces new formats. Programs such as El Camerino UIS and ConCiencia Vital are now available via video streaming on Facebook Live through the official Emisoras UIS account.
This approach enhances the listener experience and adapts to new media consumption habits.
