With the objective of establishing academic cooperation alliances with Higher Education Institutions, IES, of Santander to build knowledge and articulate inter-institutional capacities oriented to the conservation of life from the care of the natural capital of our country, the Directorate of Police Education will develop the “First International Symposium on Security and Environmental Protection”.
This symposium brings together experts, researchers and government leaders to address the most urgent challenges in environmental security at national and global level.
The event will be held on May 26 and 27 at the UNAB auditorium. During two days, they will explore innovative strategies, share knowledge and articulate academic capacities to protect ecosystems, mitigate risks and promote sustainable practices that guarantee a safe future for the next generations.
This unique event provides a platform for the exchange of strategic ideas, successful case studies and the latest research in the field of environmental security.
The Universidad Industrial de Santander will participate in this space with professors who will present some papers on activities carried out within the institution.
