Until May 11, the Universidad Industrial de Santander participates in the International Book Fair of Bogota with new works under the UIS Ediciones seal, as well as with institutional publications and pedagogical support material.
On this occasion, several titles will be presented, with the support of the Association of University Publishers of Colombia (Aseuc), which has provided a space in its stand, in Hall 3, for the launches:
Friday, May 2, 5:00 p. m. – ‘Cybercombats. Disputes on Facebook, Twitter and YouTube’, by its authors, Giohanny Olave and Dairon Rodríguez.
Saturday, May 3, 5:00 p. m. – ‘Sumai uiai. Pensar bonito’, with the presence of some of its authors, among them, Iskra de la Cruz Hernández, Élver Ariza, Teyrungümü Apolinar Torres and Aída del Pilar Becerra.
On Tuesday, May 6, at 7:00 p.m., in the Talleres 4 hall, also at the fairgrounds, the Law School and the Master’s Degree in Human Rights will launch the books ‘Social Mediation and Democratic Coexistence’, ‘Beyond the Human: Animal Rights in Colombia’, and ‘Access to Hormone Replacement Therapy for Trans Persons Deprived of Liberty’.
For 35 years, the Bogotá International Book Fair has brought together all the actors in the book chain (authors, publishers, editors, proofreaders, translators, distributors, agents and booksellers) who, together with their readers, make up this ecosystem that grows and strengthens every year.
The UIS stand is located in Pavilion 3, second level, and is number 124 at Corferias, the venue where the event is held every year.
