In an effort to strengthen the technological skills and professional development of its staff, the Universidad Industrial de Santander (UIS) conducted the practical classes of the Unmanned Aerial Systems (UAS) Pilot course offered by the National Learning Service (SENA). This activity took place at the softball field of the central campus, where UIS employees and contractors put into practice the theoretical knowledge acquired on drone operation.
The course, in collaboration with the Aeronautical Instruction Center CIAC 070 of Rionegro, Antioquia, seeks to equip participants with essential practical skills for the safe and efficient handling of these technological devices. Under the direction of the Personnel Training Subprocess of the UIS Human Talent Management Division, attendees have the opportunity to learn and apply advanced techniques in a controlled environment.
This training not only strengthens the individual competencies of our staff and contractors, but also contributes to institutional progress towards innovation and the incorporation of new technologies in academic and administrative processes.
The UIS is committed to continue promoting the professional development of its human team, ensuring that they are at the forefront in an increasingly digitized and technologically advanced world.
