Halloween was one of the protagonists this Thursday on the penultimate day of the U24 Fest, as attendees took advantage of this date to attend in costume to the activities scheduled within the event organized by the Faculty of Human Sciences and the Faculty of Physicochemical and Physicomechanical Engineering.
Two keynote lectures were presented during the day, where they talked about energy transition and alternatives for a sustainable energy model. Edgar Fernando Castillo and Gabriel Ordóñez Plata were the experts invited to share concepts with the attendees at the Luis A. Calvo Auditorium.
On Friday, the last two keynote lectures will be given by Carlos Sandoval Casilimas and former Minister Alejandro Gaviria Uribe.
During the last day will continue workshops, exhibitions and the closing will be in charge of the UIS College Foundation Band.
This year the U24 Fest has the slogan “Ideas to protect life” and is carried out with the aim of generating an impact on the academic community and society in general. Each activity aims to create spaces where everyone can share their ideas and expectations, where they can explore how to care for and improve life in all its forms, promoting a collective awareness and concrete actions for a better life.
