
July 4 is the deadline to enroll in the Master’s Degree in Sports Talent Development in deepening mode, a postgraduate course offered by the Universidad Industrial de Santander, which aims to generate a solid formation in scientific and methodological knowledge to solve problems related to this area from the pedagogical perspective of the training process.
The master’s degree has three semesters, with subjects focused on talent and sports training with practices and attendances in virtuality of 20% and the rest in presentiality on weekends every 15 days.
“We have a recognition from both the UIS and the National Government with the Ministry of Education, we have the qualified registration and that gives us the assurance that there will be a great work of research and deepening in this postgraduate course,” said Fabio Villafrades Gonzalez, director of the Department of Physical Education and Sports.

Sports Talent, Sports Training and Applied Sports Sciences are the three lines of research of the master’s degree, which has the support of 14 research groups and a research center of the UIS, and thus allow the student’s applied work and provide research experiences as part of the training process.
Registrations will be open until July 4, then the process of exams and interviews will be done to start classes on August 22.
