The Universidad Industrial de Santander will once again host an academic event of national stature. On this occasion, it receives the Ordinary General Assembly and the Congress of the Colombian Graduate Network, called ‘A new reality: Challenges for Graduate Education’, which will be held in Bucaramanga on Thursday, March 3 and Friday, March 4, 2022, in remote mode.
According to Professor Esperanza Herrera Villabona, president of the Colombian Graduate Network and director of Graduate Studies at the UIS, the congress will be held on Thursday, March 3 and will include the participation of prominent speakers of national and international stature to address and analyze crucial issues and also in the face of the impact that today is presented and affects academic institutions in the world because of the pandemic and post-pandemic.
“Among the most important topics to be discussed at the congress, the approval of the 2022 Ordinary General Assembly Regulations, the presentation of the management of the regional nodes in 2021, the presentation and approval of the 2021 Management report by the Executive Committee, the presentation and approval of the 2022 budget, the action plan for 2022 and the election of the Statutory Auditor for the 2022 period stand out,” said Professor Herrera Villabona.
