Save the date and join us for this pedagogical innovation experience! With this invitation, the Office of the Vicerrectoría Académica calls on adjunct professors at the Universidad Industrial de Santander to participate in a new session of the Misión Docencia UIS 2030 institutional strategy.
“Teaching with Purpose” will take place on Friday, September 25, at the Agora of the Facultad de Ciencias Humanas, located on the second floor of the Virginia Gutiérrez de Pineda Building.
The extensive morning agenda includes conferences on Artificial Intelligence, classroom climate, and teaching excellence among UIS professors, among other topics.
It is worth noting that Misión Docencia UIS 2030 is a strategic initiative of the Universidad Industrial de Santander aimed at strengthening and transforming teaching practices in response to the contemporary challenges facing higher education and institutional priorities.
The analysis of technological changes, new learning models, students’ needs, and the social and global challenges that are currently redefining university education motivated its adoption at UIS. The initiative seeks to consolidate innovative, student-centered teaching committed to academic excellence, in accordance with the UIS21 Pedagogical Model and the institution’s vision for 2030.
