The Universidad Industrial de Santander invites all graduates of the University who want to be part of the highest governing body of the University, to register for the election process of the Alumni Representative to the Superior Council.
Applicants who wish to register must comply with the following requirements and attach the following documents:

The registration communication must be sent from the applicant’s e-mail account to the e-mail address of the General Secretariat of the University (sgeneral@uis.edu.co). It must indicate the applicant’s free and informed will to register as a candidate, his/her name and surname, identification document, e-mail address, academic program from which he/she graduated and the name of his/her supervisor, who must meet the same requirements as the applicant, except for the 5 years of work experience. To complete the registration, the applicant and his/her supervisor shall sign the commitment to abide by the decisions of the Electoral Committee, through the registration form.

| November 22th | Closing of the nomination period at 4:00 pm. |
| November 27th | Confirmation of compliance with the requirements of the applicants, by the General Secretariat. |
| December 05th | Last day to file an appeal of rejection of applicants for non-compliance with requirements. |
| December 09th | Publication of the final list of applicants. |

| January 17th | Last day to request to be included in the Alumni Electoral Roll. |
| January 23 and 24th | Voting via internet, through the institutional web portal, from 4:00 p.m. on Thursday, January 23 until 4:00 p.m. on Friday, January 24, 2025. |
| January 24th | Voting results tallied at 4:06 pm. |
