The excellent condition of the Primero de Marzo Stadium once again stood out during Racing’s training session prior to its Copa Libertadores match against Atlético Bucaramanga.

The Argentine team, reigning champions of the Copa Sudamericana and Recopa, practiced at the UIS facilities, where players, directors and logistics personnel praised the quality of the stadium.

“I would like to thank the UIS for their hospitality, for having provided us with the facilities, it has been extremely important for the training prior to the match, very important, good hosts. The field is very good, it is a luxury to have these facilities and something so important for young people to have a place to play sports,” said Sebastián Saja, former player and current sports director of Racing.

In this way, the Primero de Marzo Stadium continues to stand out as an ideal scenario for training in Conmebol tournaments, after the visits of Colo Colo, the Brazilian and Argentine Women’s National Team in 2022, América de Cali and Cerro Porteño in 2021 and the Brazilian U-23 National Team in 2020.
