Professor Jürg Niederbacher Velásquez, attached to the Department of Pediatrics of the School of Medicine, participated as a lecturer in the 34th version of the Colombian Congress of Pediatrics, recently held in Cartagena.
His research “Bronchiolitis in children: review of latest recommendations for diagnosis and treatment. The controversy continues”, was a review on a very frequent respiratory disease in pediatrics: bronchiolitis, about which there are dilemmas and controversies on its diagnosis and management.
The academic proposal presented established conclusions and recommendations based on research and updated reviews of the medical literature, in an attempt to establish standardized guidelines on the subject.
