By decree 064 of the Government of Santander, the trajectory of Professor Diana Katherine Sandoval Martinez, attached to the Department of Pathology of the School of Medicine, was recognized and exalted.
Her outstanding work at the Hospital Universitario de Santander, HUS, for 13 years, as a Medical Pathologist, has contributed decisively in the modernization and continuous improvement of the pathology service at the institution.
Thanks to her commitment to teaching and research, students of the postgraduate Specialization in Pathology, have been able to perform their practices in the HUS, in the section of autopsies, perinatal and placental medicine, strengthening the knowledge and practice in these areas of medicine.
