Profesora Escuela de Nutrición y Dietética

Yenny Mateus Silva, professor at the School of Nutrition and Dietetics, participated in the ISAK Level 3 international certification course, a high-level international training program in the field of kinanthropometry.

The certification awarded by the International Society for the Advancement of Kinanthropometry (ISAK) represents one of the most recognized standards worldwide in anthropometric assessment, ensuring precision, accuracy, reliability, and scientific rigor in the measurement of body composition and the study of human movement.

Level 3 corresponds to an advanced category within the ISAK accreditation system, aimed at professionals with extensive experience in the field who seek to deepen their technical, methodological, and international standardization skills. This certification strengthens academic and research quality and links with the environment in areas such as sports science, nutrition, and health.

Participation in this course reaffirms the School of Nutrition and Dietetics’ commitment to academic excellence and the ongoing professional development of its staff.

This training event took place in Santa Cruz de la Sierra, Bolivia, from February 24 to March 1, bringing together specialists from different Latin American countries to promote academic exchange and scientific collaboration.

With this initiative, the Industrial University of Santander continues to consolidate its position in the field of exercise and health sciences, promoting continuing education and professional development within its academic community.
