The Institute of Regional Projection and Distance Education (IPRED) of the Universidad Industrial de Santander (UIS) invites the academic community to participate in the 41st edition of the Academic and Scientific Event of Entrepreneurs, scheduled for Saturday, November 23, from 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. This event, which will be held at the central campus in Bucaramanga and, simultaneously, at the UIS Socorro Campus.
With the participation of 512 students who will present 256 projects, the event is emerging as a key platform for the development of competencies in the creation and strengthening of enterprises. Participants from the Business Technology, Business Management and Agroindustrial programs will have the opportunity to present their ideas through business models and plans, feasibility projects and research work.
In addition, a virtual version of the event will be made available through the social network Facebook, where 235 students will present 165 projects. This initiative seeks to broaden the scope of the business proposals, allowing the students’ innovations to transcend the regional level and reach a national audience.
The Academic and Scientific Entrepreneurship Event has been, over the years, a space where ideas are transformed into tangible projects with a positive impact on society. This year, the proposals presented by students are aligned with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), integrating theory and practice in various economic sectors. Both students and professors will demonstrate how their initiatives not only seek to transform realities, but also to build a sustainable and innovative future.
With this 41st edition, IPRED reaffirms its commitment to the integral formation of its students, promoting the development of skills necessary to face the challenges of today’s business world
