The Clinical Laboratory of the Universidad Industrial de Santander offers diagnostic support services in the areas of basic clinical laboratory, medium and high complexity, always ensuring a reliable and timely diagnosis, for the welfare of the Santander community.
During this period of collective vacations UIS, the Clinical Laboratory will be open during the following hours:
Monday to Saturday
7:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
Reception of samples until 9:00 am.
Sundays and holidays
No service
On December 24 and 31, there will be no service.
The laboratory performs all tests of low, medium and high level of complexity and special profiles or individual tests you need to take care of your health.
We invite you to take the “General Profile” test, once a year, with which the general state of health is evaluated; they serve for the prevention of cardiovascular, renal and other diseases such as diabetes, gout, anemia and various infections.
General profile: Blood count, Uroanalysis, Coprological, Fecal occult blood, Total cholesterol, HDL cholesterol (good), LDL cholesterol (bad), Triglycerides, Glycemia, Creatinine, Urea Nitrogen (BUN), Uric Acid, Oxaloacetic Transaminase (TGO), Pyruvic Transaminase (TGP), Alkaline Phosphatase, Glycosylated Hemoglobin, Thyroid Stimulating Hormone (TSH), Thyroid Stimulating Hormone (TSH).
