January 26th is the World Day for Environmental Education. For this reason, the members of Teatro UIS will present their play ‘Medioambiente no, mejor completo’ at the José Antonio Galán Open Air Auditorium starting at 4:30 pm.
In this staging, three essential elements of nature such as air, water and plants come to life in the form of seemingly normal people, with the sole intention of making a representative of humanity see all the damage caused to the environment.
“Through this play we found the most digestible, entertaining and fun way to reach any person and bring a message of the importance of caring for the environment,” said Jonathan Solano, a member of Teatro UIS.
The artistic group has performed in different parts of Bucaramanga and its metropolitan area with this play and has even reached different municipalities of Santander.
The World Day for Environmental Education is a date dedicated to raise awareness about climate change and sustainability. Admission to the performance is free and does not require any registration process.
