Dr. Carlos Enrique Ramírez Blanco, a professor of plastic surgery at this university, was elected to the National Board of Directors of the Colombian Society of Plastic, Aesthetic, and Reconstructive Surgery as executive secretary.
The election took place during the National Congress of Plastic Surgery, held September 9–12 in Medellín, an event that brought together professionals and specialists in this medical field from across the country.
This appointment recognizes Dr. Ramírez Blanco’s academic and professional career and his contributions to the advancement of plastic surgery in the clinical, academic, and scientific spheres.
