As part of his participation in the 29th Colombian Congress of Internal Medicine, recently held at the Laureles campus of the Pontifical Bolivarian University (UPB) in Medellín, Oscar Leonel Rueda Ochoa, a professor and researcher at the Industrial University of Santander (UIS), donated a printed copy of his doctoral dissertation to this university.
The work, titled “Methodological and Epidemiological Studies of Cardiovascular Structure and Function,” is his doctoral thesis on cardiovascular research, which he completed at Erasmus University in the Netherlands under the auspices of the UIS and with the support of a non-repayable grant from Colciencias (now Minciencias).
This donation contributes to the circulation and dissemination of the UIS’s academic and research output, strengthening the exchange of knowledge among institutions of higher education and making available to the academic community works that contribute to the study of cardiovascular health from methodological and epidemiological perspectives.
