The Student Well-Being Office officially launched the UIS-IPRED Regional Campuses Meeting, “We Are All Well-Being,” an initiative designed to create spaces for dialogue, integration, and communication while strengthening collaborative work among the professionals responsible for implementing health promotion and prevention strategies for the university community.
Until Thursday, July 3, student well-being professionals and administrators from the Main Campus and the regional campuses in Barrancabermeja, Barbosa, Málaga, and Socorro are participating in discussion sessions and knowledge-sharing activities aimed at enhancing comprehensive health and well-being services for students across the University.

Throughout the event, participants will engage in experience-sharing panels, technical working groups, workshops, presentations, and institutional tours. These activities reaffirm the University’s commitment to building healthier, more inclusive environments that respond to the needs of its diverse regions.
The schedule of activities planned through Thursday is presented below.

“Representatives from the different regional campuses, university campuses, and the Main Campus have come together to strengthen strategies that help students feel supported, become fully engaged in university life, and have the tools they need to succeed throughout this stage of their academic journey,” said María Paula Hernández Rueda, Student Well-Being professional at UIS.
“For us as a regional campus, it is very important to actively participate in the activities organized by the Main Campus in Bucaramanga. It makes us feel more included and heard, while allowing us to interact with colleagues from the other campuses and the Main Campus. This helps us learn firsthand about the latest well-being initiatives and also share the work we have been carrying out in our regional campuses to support the well-being of our students,” said Magda Lisset Vargas Suárez, Coordinator of Student Well-Being and Cultural Management at the Málaga Regional Campus.
Through this meeting, the Industrial University of Santander (UIS) reaffirms its commitment to strengthening student well-being strategies and fostering coordinated efforts between the Main Campus and its regional campuses. The exchange of experiences and the joint development of initiatives will help consolidate increasingly comprehensive, accessible, and timely services, contributing to the well-being and academic success of students throughout all the regions served by the University.
