In commemoration of International Men’s Day, the Listening Center of the Universidad Industrial de Santander (UIS) held a series of workshops and activities focused on promoting positive male role models. These initiatives emphasized the importance of self-care and the integral wellbeing of men, covering social, emotional and physical aspects.
During the day, motivational phrases were displayed in different areas of the university, highlighting values such as respect, empathy and diversity.
The activities promoted a space for reflection on the roles, behaviors, attitudes and values that make up the male identity, encouraging an open dialogue on the construction of a positive and responsible masculinity. These types of initiatives are essential to contribute to a culture of respect and equity in the university community.
