The Universidad Industrial de Santander (UIS) invites the entire university and external community to participate in the 34th edition of the UIS Athletic Race, to be held next Sunday, March 30. Registration will be open until Monday, March 17.
On this occasion, registration will be free for students, faculty and administrative staff of the University. For graduates and external community, the participation fee is $50,000.
Considered one of the most traditional and representative sports competitions in the region, the UIS Athletic Race will have a four-kilometer route within the central campus, starting at the Luis A. Calvo Auditorium and finishing at the Primero de Marzo Stadium.
This event is an ideal opportunity to enjoy sports, integration and healthy competition. Each year, it brings together runners from different municipalities and departments, consolidating itself as a meeting place for sports and institutional celebration.
The UIS Athletic Race has the support of Electrolit, Deportivos Carvajal and the Institute of Youth, Sports and Recreation of Bucaramanga (Inderbu), which will provide hydration, logistical support and incentives for participants.
