To provide students with greater learning opportunities and promote well-being at the end of the semester, the Industrial University of Santander (UIS) will offer a range of special services at the Central Campus Library.
The initiative includes extended study hours, academic tutoring, and opportunities for students to take active breaks while preparing for their final exams.
During this new season, the Library will introduce extended opening hours, allowing students to use the UIS Library until 10:00 p.m. This schedule will be in effect from Thursday, October 29, through Thursday, November 5, and will apply only on weekdays.
In addition, the Library will offer its 24/7 service from Friday, November 6, through Saturday, November 14. This service will keep the study areas, the first floor, and support services available overnight. The initiative aims to help students organize their schedules, complete academic assignments, and prepare for their final exams.

Academic Tutoring
To complement these study spaces, the SEA Library program will offer academic tutoring in subjects such as calculus, algebra, physics, chemistry, descriptive geometry, and English. These sessions will give students the opportunity to ask questions, clarify concepts, and strengthen their knowledge with support from academic tutors.

With this new season of services, UIS reaffirms its commitment to student learning, retention, and well-being by providing spaces and resources that address the needs of university life and support students in their academic pursuits.
