With the aim of promoting accessible educational spaces and strengthening learning processes, Universidad Industrial de Santander (UIS) will host the event ‘Inclusive Geoeducation: Learning About the Earth Without Barriers’.
The event will take place on Monday, November 9, from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon, at Casona La Perla. It will offer an experience designed to bring knowledge about the territory and geology closer to all students.
The initiative is specially designed for students with disabilities and seeks to provide an environment for exploration, learning and connection with the territory, recognizing diversity as a fundamental element in the construction of knowledge.
Through this Inclusive Geoeducation experience, the University aims to encourage participation, collective learning and inclusion through activities that allow students to explore the territory, discover new ways of learning and share knowledge in an environment accessible to everyone.
