She is Sofia Mayerly Hernández Sánchez, a graduate of the Law program at the Universidad Industrial de Santander and who currently serves as Coordinator in charge of the Regional García Rovira of the Regional Autonomous Corporation of Santander (CAS).
Sofía, who received her professional degree in 2016, proudly highlights her bond with UIS, highlighting how the university has marked her professional and personal path.
“For me, it is an honor to be here and to be a graduate of UIS. The University is a space that, in addition to training professionals, creates leaders committed to the development of the region and the country. Today, looking back, I cannot help but feel pride and gratitude for having been part of the alma mater that has been the cradle of knowledge, values and opportunities for so many generations,” said Sofia with emotion.
The graduate highlights the 30 years of the Law program of the Universidad Industrial de Santander emphasizing that it is a testimony and collective effort of students, teachers, directors and alumni.
“We have seen how the program has evolved, responding to the challenges of each time without losing its focus: to train integral and ethical professionals with a humanistic training seal”.
