The Academic Council of the Universidad Industrial de Santander, in its capacity as Credentials Committee, in an extraordinary session held on February 23rd, 2022, proceeded to analyze the claims presented by two of the applicants who did not meet the minimum requirements for the position of Rector of the Universidad Industrial de Santander.
These claims to the published list of candidates for the position of UIS Rector were received at the General Secretariat between February 17th and 22nd.
Following this process, in the framework of the provisions of the Academic Council Académico no. 024 del 1° de febrero de 2022, and once the review and analysis of the claim letters submitted and the documents attached, the Academic Council reports that only four continue in the process for the position of Rector of the Universidad Industrial de Santander, period 2022 – 2025.

According to the schedule established for the procedure, from February 28 to March 4, the candidates’ forum, the transmission of interviews and the publication of the management plans on the Institutional Web Portal of the UIS will take place.
