This week, UIS Radio Stations—representing the Eastern Regional Vice-Presidency within the Colombian University Radio Network (RRUC)—are the featured guests on the program *Conexión RRUC*.
This news program aims to strengthen ties among the stations comprising the RRUC and to continue showcasing the work being done across the country’s various regions; it airs weekly on the network’s member stations.
The program features a 25-minute interview with the week’s guest, alongside updates from various higher education institutions that take turns sharing the work underway in different areas of universities across the country.
The show also facilitates content sharing, promotes the exchange of experiences, and consolidates the collaborative spirit that defines the network, which is composed of 72 public and private university radio stations.
Each week, the program is produced for broadcast by participating stations according to their individual schedules. The content—which gained new momentum following the Network’s Annual Meeting—is produced in Medellín at *Frecuencia U* (940 AM), the station of the University of Medellín.
Listeners can tune in to UIS Radio Stations on Wednesdays at 4:00 PM on *UIS Estéreo* and on Thursdays at 3:00 PM on *UIS AM*.
Participating in this network of goodwill complements the institutional work carried out on *UIS AM* (670 kHz)—”The Tradition That Unites Us”—and *UIS Estéreo* (96.9 MHz)—”The Radio We Love.” Through these channels, content is produced and broadcast to disseminate knowledge, promote culture, and strengthen the bond between academia and the Santander region.
