The Mathematics Education Research Group of the Universidad Industrial de Santander (EDUMAT-UIS) announces the opening of registration for the XXV Annual Meeting of Students of the “Mathematical Calendar”. This event, aimed at sixth and seventh grade students from official and private schools in northeastern Colombia, will be held next Saturday, May 24, at the Camilo Torres building, from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon.
The main objective of the meeting is to provide a space that encourages problem solving through the Mathematical Calendar. The scheduled workshops will allow students to interact, share knowledge and explore different mathematical strategies, thus enriching their educational experience and promoting the exchange of knowledge among different institutions.
Educational institutions and students interested in participating can register by sending an email to calendariomatematico2025@gmail.com. A wide participation is expected to boost learning and passion for mathematics among young people in the region.
