Student Welfare of the Universidad Industrial de Santander (UIS) invites the university community to participate in the various activities scheduled as part of the commemoration of the International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women, which will be held from November 27 to 29 at the institution.
This Wednesday, November 27, at 2:00 p.m., the Coordination of Integrated Health Services will present a film forum with the screening of the movie “Breaking the Circle”, directed by the American Justin Baldoni and based on the successful novel by Colleen Hoover. The event will take place in the SEA Auditorium, located on the third floor of the Student Welfare building. This romantic drama, which addresses issues of domestic violence, invites reflection on the dynamics of human relationships and has been recognized for its social impact.
The agenda continues on Thursday, November 28, at the Floridablanca campus, where the Student Welfare Health Coordination will provide students with informative activities about the services it offers, as well as talks focused on the prevention of violence and gender discrimination, promoting an environment of respect and inclusion. The day will run from 8:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m.
To conclude the week, on Friday, November 29, a rumbatherapy class will be offered at the Casona la Perla at 10:00 a.m. This activity seeks to combine recreation with the promotion of physical and emotional well-being, in an environment that promotes the integration of the university community.
