The School of Law and Political Science of the UIS, through the project Connecting to Transform: conciliation in equity, reaffirms its commitment to territorial peace in Colombia. This project, supported by the Ministry of Justice and Law, promotes conflict resolution through the diploma course “Training to Transform”, bringing justice tools to various regions of the country.
In Florencia, Caquetá, three days of classroom training were held for aspiring conciliators from Florencia and El Paujil, strengthening the local administration of justice and contributing to territorial peace.
The event was attended by the director of the School, Javier Alejandro Acevedo Guerrero, and local authorities, who collaborated in the construction of joint solutions for their territories.
This diploma course represents a significant step in the effort to strengthen the local administration of justice and territorial peace.
